The presentation will focus on the IMF's inaugural Regional Economic Outlook for Europe, which will be published on November 12. The report analyses the implications of the recent financial turbulence in Europe following the collapse of the subprime mortgage market in the U.S. and examines ways to further strengthen financial systems in both advanced and emerging economies in Europe and reforms to sustain growth over the medium term. The presentation will discuss in particular policies to ensure successful convergence in emerging European economies, including in Croatia.
